Harlem Lanes

Lots of fun! I'm a terrible bowler, but I had such a great time. The full bar, DJ, and nightclub atmosphere really set this place off. There are flatscreen TVs, dark lanes, and great music. Great place to bring friends, but reserving lanes can be a pain (if you're really here to bowl). We waited quite some time for our reservation, but I didn't care. I was too busy taking pictures and enjoying cocktails.

Slate

A pool club with ping-pong tables, a foosball table here and there, drinks, and club-like atmosphere. A nice small dance space, and a space in the back if you reserve with enough people. When it gets crowded, it does get warm. And the pool isn't cheap. But a nice mixed crowd usually.

Private Club

This is a private club, so you can't go here unless you are invited by a member. So, try to find a member to take you here! It's what you expect from an exclusive private club. Super-attentive service, great space with comfortable chairs and great views, and extensive drink selection.

Guten Tag!

Don't miss the party platter---all different kinds of sausage with 3 types of mustard and 2 kinds of sauerkraut, and rye bread. ah-mazing.

Recession Special

Not gonna change your life, but it'll fill your belly without emptying your wallet. The dogs are good, the drinks are interesting, and the coffee is... probably my favorite thing there. Get the Recession Special, and save a little more.

Kewl Joint

The staff is really cool. Dave's chill, and his dog is really friendly. The concept is really cool. They have a meat container where they store shirts and they're wrapped up like meat. Worth the walk to try to find the store.

Jackrabbit will not steer you wrong.

Great running store with all the essentials that runners need. The staff as a whole is very knowledgeable and very helpful.

Get Out of Jail Free Pass

Single men of America, take heed. As a straight man in New York, life is hard. However, on my side, I have a lively wit, puppy dog eyes, and these shoes. For all my failings, there is a Louboutin to remedy it. God bless you, Monsieur Louboutin, for inventing the real-world "Get Out of Jail Free" card.

Sports Bar

This place is pretty cool. A little too crowed for my taste. but the drink prices were really cheap. I would definitely go back again.

Hookahs, pipes, etc.

High end merchandise but the best prices out there. The sales people are knowledgable and friendly. They carry just about any kind of smoking accessory - pipes, glass, metal, wood, papers, vaporizers and hookahs. Check around, but I bet you won't find a better deal.
