Good food; good hang out place
Good food(if you like Turkish food that is), and a nice place to hang out. Service could be a little bit better but overall i would still give it 5 stars

good cuisine
Very nice Turkish restaurant with a nice atmosphere and a reasonable price tag. The service was very good and friendly, the servings were nice and large.

good neighborhood place
The food is reliably good here, although not spectacular. Decent selection of wines and good service, ideal for a lunch date. Try to get one of the tables by the windows to look at people going by below you on Montague.

Excellent food and friendly service
Taze is a gem of a place located on the second floor of a residential building on Montague Street ? the main drag in Brooklyn Heights. The food is fresh and the preparation is excellent -- they do not drown their dishes in oil and salt which is can be problem with many of the Mediterranean restaurants in the city. For an appetizer, I recommend the "ezme" ? chopped tomatoes with walnuts, hot chili sauce, oil and pomegranate juice - spicey but unique tasting. The staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Worth a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.
