Very Professional - huge help
We had to reschedule our moving date for week later because we had some issues on the closing of the house. They were very understanding. On the day of the move we had to go for closing and we were absent for the day. I only explain what is going and that our stuff has to be out in 3 hours. Everything was under pressure but they took care for our furniture as they promise and we were able to focus only on the paper work. Very professional nothing was damaged. I will highly recommend them New York Best Movers.

I have just completed a long distance move from NY-Fl and choose New York Movers – Remarkable Movers as the company I hired. It's been a while since I have moved long distance - so as you can imagine I was much stressed. I had to maintain working and taking care of two toddlers through this entire process but with the assistance of the New York Movers – Remarkable Movers I had a very professional and well organized move –
I'm very happy I decided to hire them once again if I need to and will recommend them to everyone moving.

I moved from NYC to New Jersey and I used New York Movers – Remarkable Movers. The quality of the move was excellent from start until the delivery. At first I was considering doing the job myself, but then my girlfriend did not want to help with the packing, so I decided to let a moving company do it. I got several estimates and I decided to use New York Movers – Remarkable Movers since they had a good competitive price. The pick up went great. The foreman Mike had everything he needed to do the move. I contracted for the full service which included all the packing supplies and all the labor for the move. They packed absolutely everything for my move even my piano. The piano was $100 extra and believe me I had other movers say they would charge anywhere from $200 to $500 to move the piano. That was a great price to move the piano. They did a great job. The piano arrived in New Jersey without a scratch. Both parts of the move were excellent. James was the most professional person I spoke with on the phone and he followed up on the whole move and assured a quick delivery in New Jersey. I can’t thank enough Mike & his boys – Thank you NY Movers – Remarkable Movers.

Excellent Experience -Professional NY Movers
NY Movers – Remarkable Movers did a great job from start to finish. They showed up on time, and got right to work. The movers were dressed professionally, and they did great work. Nothing was damaged or broken and in the end we ended up being happy that we hired them. Considering all of the moving experiences that we have had this was definitely one of the better encounters. They were not the lowest priced, but they did have a good price and the work was professional and reliable so in my opinion it made everything completely worth it. Thanks NY Movers – Remarkable Movers - we will definitely be contacting you again in the future.

We moved to Chicago from New York City. I called around trying to find the cheapest & Reliable Moving Company in NYC, already after my husband had done some calling himself and he had decided to use U-haul because it was just cheaper than the rest. He was going to be riding the bus back to NYC to help us move since he was already in Chicago working and probably wouldn't be getting much sleep to drive the Uhaul after the long bus ride (14hrs).

I ended up finding This New York Movers Company by word of mouth from my mom saying that a friend of hers used New York City Movers. I decided to do a search on the internet and found all those positive reviews about this company. I called them to find out more about the pricing. I later called back with more questions regarding other things that I've read in your reviews (Thank you!). New York City Movers was by far the cheapest & Reliable compared to Uhaul including the gas, insurance, etc And the rest of the companies that I had contacted, Penske, Budget and so forth.

When I called them, here are some questions that I asked and wanted included in or on my truck:

1. Will my truck be cleaned out, no pallets etc on?
**His answer** (Mike}: They almost always clean it out. There might be some dust or a little dirt.
(I had planned on sweeping the inside out and then putting down a tarp on the floor of the truck to protect my furniture or anything else that wasn't packed in a box.)

2. I want a truck that has latches or hooks of some sort to tie off my stuff.
**His answer**: All the new trucks have tie off latches and all of the old trailers have the boards that you can just nail into and tie off, off of that.
(I told him that I would like a newer truck then so I wouldn't have a hassle. He said that would be fine)

3. What kind of gate is the 'bulkhead wall' and is it secure enough to hold not be pushed? Also, Do I need to make sure that I have the lower and upper bulkhead locks?
**His answer: It's a plywood board th

I've used Mike and his Crew twice and a coworker used them upon my recommendation. Why?

Their prices are fair, and unlike many movers, there are no last-minute fees. Mike is not the cheapest, but considering the reasons below, they're a bargain.

2) The guys are polite, friendly, professional and go the extra mile. In the two moves I've used them for, I've met two different crews and they were both fantastic. (As a single twentysomething woman, I could have felt a little odd having a bunch of guys come in and basically take over my old AND new apartments. However, with Popeye's I was completely comfortable!)

3) They're fast and ON TIME. I've used cheap (read: crappy) movers in the past and one company was six hours late. Mike is always right on time.

4) They're careful yet really efficient. I've had nothing broken, and everything was handled carefully. Again, they really do go the extra mile.

5) They take credit. (The majority of movers don't.)

6) They also do simple unloads in addition to moves. Example - my first time using them my moving truck had been packed in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Once in Orlando Florida, they unpacked the truck and carried stuff in. The second time they moved me within NYC and again, I was really pleased.

So, bottom line - I wouldn't use anyone else! Go the dirt-cheap route and beware!

I wanted to let your company know how impressed my husband and I were with the service we received on June 23, 2009. We had three gentlemen helping us that day-Don, Mike and Ron. All of them were polite, professional, and had a very nice attitude throughout the whole process even though the work was hard and the weather, HOT. I would recommend your moving company to anyone moving in New York City. Our move went smoothly and in the time we expected. We greatly appreciate the quality service!
